I also cant shake the feeling chrome and or firefox are messing with my mouse settings. This is not a new problem, and its worse in games. I installed xinput, and my mouse seems to be recognized correctly xinput -list -short There is no such software for Linux it seems ?įound this with google, but would like to know if its the right way to fix this: I may have some of my details confused, but as I said it was a long time ago when I did this.I basically have the same problem under windows, but for windows installing some logitech software to lower the dpi fixed it. If it does, then you have to start again with removing it manually, downloading lates version, install, etc. The key is to remove all traces of setpoint, then install the latest version, then connect the devices and not let an earlier setpoint version install. But, if you dissable Setpoint for any reason, the windows mouse controlller will not funtion properly. Eventually, the latest version of setpoint installed after several attempts. So there was a lot of manual work to remove the earlier version. I had to use v6 downloaded from Logitech's site, and that wouldn't upgrade properly unless I removed the previous version using one of their removal tools which also did not remove all traces so that v6 would install correctly. It's been a while since I set them up, but I remember it being a bit of a hassle The version of Setpoint shipped with the two logitech devices does not work properly. I run Photoshop 7, and Setpoint v6.32.7, Driver v5.33.14. I have a Dell Studio 1749 laptop running Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit with a Dell ST2010 flat screen, a Logitech K350 keyboard and a M510 mouse on a unifying USB connection.
